Suggested Use: This base note fixative is good to use in an essential oil blend to help the aroma last longer. The scent is considered deeply relaxing, and is good for sleep or stress. Its mystique is sensual, and its remarkable staying power is enduring. While vetiver is a favorite in perfumery, it is also useful to help mask unpleasant aromas.
Topically, it can help freshen the skin and work on skin blemishes. Dilute to 2% with topical use, which equals about 10 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil.
History: In India and Sri Lanka this oil is known as the "oil of tranquility."
