Suggested Use:  Use citronella essential oil in bug-repelling blends with essential oils like cedarwood, lavender, patchouli, and eucalyptus.  It can also be added to cleaning products and recipes for a freshening scent.  Try a few drops in a laundry soap or all-purpose cleaner.

History:  When citronella was first exhibited in London in 1851 it was introduced as "nard" oil, which is why it has been confused with spikenard essential oil. Citronella is commonly found in cleaning products, insect repellents and perfumery.  Java citronella is often fractionated into perfume components (citronellal and geraniol).

Specific Safety Information:  Not for internal use.  Dilute all essential oils properly before topical use.  Some essential oils maybe contraindicated with certain medical conditions.  Ask your doctor if you have any questions before use.
