Suggested Use: Coriander seed is used in aromatherapy blends for its uplifting effect. It blends nicely with essential oils like rose geranium, clary sage, palmarosa, pine, bergamot, and petitgrain.
Topically, the essential oil can be diluted in a carrier oil and applied to the abdominal area to aid in digestive complaints. Dilute to 3% in a carrier oil, which is about 15 single drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil like jojoba or olive oil.
History: Coriander seeds were found in the ancient Egyptian tomb of Ramses II. It has long been considered a valuable spice worldwide. To this day, it is an important component of curry spice.
