History: Litsea cubeba oil has been used since ancient times, as an herbal Chinese medicine for muscle aches and indigestion. It has also long been used in Ayurvedic medicine to expel negative energy. Today, it is widely used in the perfume and soap industry for its potent lemon-scented aroma.
