Suggested Use: Spearmint has a more mild aroma than peppermint, and can help stimulate mental clarity and good energy. It has been used to help with respiratory and digestive complaints and to calm nervous stress.
Dilute and apply to the abdominal area to help ease digestive upset. With topical use, dilute spearmint essential oil to 1.5% in a carrier oil to avoid possible skin sensitization. This equals about 8 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil.
